- 24 inches of farmer sausage (approximately), sliced (check for gluten)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 red peppers, chopped into bite sized pieces
- 6 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 cup ketchup (check for gluten)
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablesoons corn starch
- 2 beef oxo cube/heap tablespoon (check for gluten)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder/salt
- 3 cups of rice
- In a large pot, fry the sausage and onion until the onion is mostly translucent (it's okay if the sausage isn't completely cooked at this point).
- Start the rice in a separate pot.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the sausage and onion, bring the pot to a boil, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve over the rice.
