- 1 cup margerine
- 4 cups brown suger
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 tbls baking soda dissolved in 1 tblsp hot water
- 5 or 6 cups flour (about)
- 1 tsp cinamon
- 1 tsp ground anise
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- Mix margerine, brown suger, eggs, and baking soda dissolved in 1 Tbsp hot water.
- Add 5 cups of flour and spices. If consistency is too hard, add egg, if its too soft, add more flour.
- Roll it out flat, about â…›" thick, adding more flour to keep things from sticking, and cut it into small 1cm (â…“ inch) squares with a pizza cutter. Or roll pieces into ropes, and cut into slices to make round cookies.
- Bake for 7 min. @ 375°F
