Consider making half of this recipe, if making only one batch of waffles.
- 2 cups milk
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- Mix flour, salt, and sugar with 1/4 cup cold milk until there's no lumps
- Heat 1 3/4 cups milk until it's scalded (basically, microwave until you can see a skin on top, about 3 minutes). Then dump the rest in and microwave for 1 minute at a time (mix every time). It needs to bubble up 3 or 4 times and then it's done!
