- 3 cups white flour (can be mixed with some brown flour)

1/2 cup bran
- (or mix flour half whole wheat and half white, leave out bran)
- 2 tbsp of any of the following: rolled oats, wheat germ, wheatlets, red river cereal, corn meal (as part of the flour)
- 2 tbsp flax
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 1/2 tbsp yeast (add more?)
- 1 1/2 cups liquid (1 egg, some milk, potato water, water)
- 1/4 cup oil
- Mix well.
- Add water to make a "fairly soft dough."
- Let rise until doubled in size.
- Knead down.
- Put on pans and let it rise.
- Bake at 350/375° for about 17 minutes (depending on the oven).
